The primary goal of the Women of Ridgecrest is threefold: To EQUIP women toward maturity in Christ, ENCOURAGE one another in love, and MINISTER to the world around us. These goals are set to fulfill our purpose: To raise up generations of women who have deep and abiding relationships with the Lord through the study and passing on of scripture.

EQUIP
Women’s Bible Study (Wednesdays from 6-7pm): Women of various ages, spiritual maturity, and backgrounds gather together to study God’s word and support one another. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12)

Discipleship: Mature women walk alongside younger women, focusing on spiritual growth through the study and application of scripture. This may be one-on-one or in small groups of three of four. Meeting times, places, and arrangements are as varied as the women participating, but the focus of each partnership remains the same. (Titus 2:3-5)

Special Events (Planned throughout the year): Women are taught, challenged, uplifted, and given an opportunity to serve through carefully selected group activities.

ENCOURAGE
We seek every opportunity to encourage one another, with the hope we have in Jesus Christ, through scripture sharing, prayer, personal testimony, uplifting words, thoughtful gestures, and more. (1 Thes. 5:11)

MINISTER
We recognize that we are stewards of God’s grace and as such, we are to love earnestly, show cheerful hospitality, and use the gifts He has given us to serve others and glorify Him. (Matt. 5:14-16; 1 Peter 4:8-11)
