Our Ridgecrest Nursery provides a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children from birth to four years of age. They will learn about Jesus through age-appropriate activities such as listening to stories, singing, and playing, under the direction of loving and qualified workers.

When You Arrive
Our secure check-in and check-out procedures are designed to insure children are released to authorized adults only.

On your first visit to Ridgecrest, our staff and/or trained volunteers will guide you through the check-in process at either the Nursery or Children’s Check-in Area where you and your children will be issued security name tags.

Next you will accompany your children to the age-appropriate area of ministry where they will be greeted by a staff member or volunteer to take them inside the secured area.

Remember to keep your security tag handy because you will be asked to present it when it is time to retrieve your children from the Nursery and/or RidgeKids area.

We request that parents/guardians put their phones in “vibrate” mode so you may be reached easily should the need arise.

While Kids Are in Our Care
Age-appropriate snacks, such as cereal, crackers, animal cookies, etc., are given to children ages 2-4. Please notify the Nursery Director or Assistant if your child has any food allergies or other conditions of which we might need to be aware. We strive to accommodate various dietary restrictions; however, it is also permissible for you to provide your own snacks for your child with severe allergies. Please communicate this to the Nursery Coordinator upon arrival.

Experienced and attentive caregivers provide a written report to parents about their child’s time with us.

What They Will Learn
All RBC Sunday school classes, from nursery to senior adults, use The Gospel Project curriculum. This is a three year trek through the Bible in which all stories point to Jesus as part of God’s redemptive plan for man. Our prayer is that by walking through the Scriptures together, families will grow closer, parents will become better equipped to disciple their children, and children will come to an early understanding of what it means to be a Christ follower.

Safety and Security
We take the safety of your children very seriously. Our specially designed nursery and children’s areas remain locked during programming events, only allowing authorized adults within the secured area. All staff and volunteers complete a screening process, which includes a criminal background check and training. Also, all nursery classrooms and the children’s area are equipped with video surveillance cameras.
