At the RIDGE we want to give teenagers the opportunity to experience a real and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The RIDGE exists to REACH non-believing students, to INTEGRATE them with other Christians, to challenge them to DISCOVER their ministry while they GROW in their faith, & EXALT God with their life.

3 MINISTRY DISTINCTIVES

1. Supports, encourages, and trains parents in their God-directed roles as spiritual leaders. Welcomes parents as part of the ministry.
2. Provides godly men and women who can play mentoring roles to students.
3. Luby’s Cafeteria approach to ministry. Our purpose is to get students to walk as Christ followers while being in the world but not of the world. To accomplish that goal, it requires them to be involved in many activities outside the church walls. We recognize all students cannot be involved in every event; therefore, our ministry provides a “cafeteria” type of schedule from which students and parents can choose.

RIDGE Sunday School classes are grade specific small groups that meet and share as an adult volunteer helps guide them through Scripture.

All Sunday school classes, from nursery to senior adult, use The Gospel Project curriculum. This is a three year trek through the Bible in which all stories point to Jesus as part of God’s redemptive plan for man. Our prayer is that by walking through the Scriptures together, families will grow closer, parents will become better equipped to disciple their children, and children will come to an early understanding of what it means to be a Christ follower.

RIDGE Discipleship Groups create environments that provide the experiences and activities necessary to build those relationships. We believe life change happens in the context of intentional relationships. Our goal is to supply accountability, belonging, and caring as we “do life together”.

We offer a MIDWEEK gathering on Wednesday nights that takes place upstairs in the student area. Experience worship through song and Bible study as well as community on the front end hang time and the back end TalkBack groups. Come worship with us, but don’t come alone. Bring a friend who is far from God or isn’t plugged into a church.
