Pastor of Discipleship; Staff Elder

Joel Bench

Joel serves as a Staff Elder at Ridgecrest as well as the Pastor of Discipleship. Born and raised in Greenville, Joel has lived here most of his life, raised his family here, and is committed to the community. Joel graduated from Texas Tech University and has a masters degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as a student minister for 10 years and spent 20 yrs serving as the tour manager for the band MercyMe. His greatest joy is his family.  He and his wife, Denyse, have two amazing daughters, an incredible son-in-law, and the 2 smartest and most handsome grandsons in the world. Joel enjoys the mountains, camping, and spending time with family and friends. His greatest desire for Ridgecrest is to see men and women grow in their faith, families strengthened and restored, and the church impact the city and world around us.

Pastor of Family & Community; Staff Elder

Justin Milton

Justin Milton serves as a Staff Elder at Ridgcrest, as well as the Pastor of Family & Community. He enjoys romantic walks down the aisles of Target with his bride and extended journeys to the McDonald’s dollar menu. He was born and raised right here in Greenville and though many friends & classmates couldn’t wait to get out of town, he is thankful that God not only planted him here but that He continues to allow him to serve this community. Justin has always had a heart for drawing people in and leans on faith and humor to avoid the doldrums of life. Prior to coming to Ridgecrest in 2007, he served in Student Ministry at Park St. Baptist Church & Highland Terrace Baptist Church; both in Greenville, TX. He earned degrees from Texas A&M-Commerce and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Justin met Shannon, his wife, at church during high school and they have two amazing kids.

Ryan Litchfield

Ryan Litchfield serves as the Pastor of Students at Ridgecrest. He has many years of experience in student ministry.  Ryan grew up in Greenville and is excited to invest in the future of the community. After graduating from Greenville High School, he attended Texas A & M University-Commerce where he obtained his Bachelors degree. Ryan then attended Dallas Baptist University and graduated with a Master of Arts in Discipleship. Ryan met his wife, Alisha, during in college while attending church together. Ryan has a passion for discipling students in their relationship with Christ. Ryan is thankful to call Greenville home and for the Lord placing him in his hometown to reach this community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Ryan and Alisha have 2 wonderful children.

Minister to Children

Denyse Bench

Denyse serves as the Minister to Children at Ridgecrest. She is a Greenville native; and after graduating from Greenville High School, she attended Texas Tech University where she earned a B.S. in Elementary Education. Through the years, Denyse has served as a layperson in a variety of ministries such as teaching children, youth, and adult Bible study, working alongside her husband during his 10 years in youth ministry, and participating in foreign and domestic mission trips. In her 24 years as an educator, Denyse has worked in both the public and private school setting teaching Pre-K through 5th grade ESL classes, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. She has also been a Reading and Curriculum Specialist and School Administrator. Denyse is excited to partner with RBC parents in the teaching and discipling of their children. She also has a burden for the children and families of our community and hopes to reach those outside the church walls with the gospel message. Denyse and her husband, Joel, have two daughters, one son-in-law, and the two most precious grandbabies ever.

Director of Nursery Ministry & PDO

Kamey Sprouse

Kamey Sprouse serves as the Director of Nursery Ministry at Ridgecrest – including PDO Coordinator. Kamey graduated from Texas A&M University – Commerce where she earned a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has a background in early childhood education, serving at Caddo Mills ISD and Royse City ISD. Kamey is passionate about marriage, motherhood, and cultivating climates and relationships with and amongst families. Kamey and her husband, Jordan, have four wonderful children.

Church Administrator; Facilities & Finances

Mitchell Money

Mitchell is a graduate from Texas A&M-Commerce with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. He is a lifelong resident of Greenville and has always been highly involved in both church and the community. He has been a member of Ridgecrest for over 15 years and has served the church in many capacities. He most recently worked at Ridgecrest as Assistant Administrator. Mitchell has also volunteered as a youth camp counselor, Life Group leader, and a Keystone young adult ministry leader. Mitchell worked for L3Harris before coming on staff at Ridgecrest as Church Administrator where he oversees facilities and finances. Mitchell and his wife Laura have one wonderful child.

Worship Leader

Caleb King

Caleb King serves as the Worship Leader. He grew up in Arp, Tx and volunteered in the music ministry at his local church and youth camp before moving to Greenville in 2016. He is a graduate from UT-Tyler with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and is currently employed as a Software Engineer at L3Harris. Caleb has also volunteered at Ridgecrest as a youth camp counselor, Life Group leader, helper in Ridge FiveSix, and as a member of the worship team. He met his wife, Kylie, at L3Harris and they enjoy spending time together camping, hiking, walking the dog, and doing home improvement projects.

Counselor, Ministry Assistant

Carolyn Scott

Carolyn Scott serves as the church counselor as well as a ministry assistant at Ridgecrest. She grew up in a loving, Christian home in Corsicana, Texas and came to faith in Christ when she was 14 years old. After graduating high school, Carolyn attended Navarro College and graduated from Texas A&M University-College Station. She taught 2nd grade for a year in Bryan, Texas before moving to Greenville to serve as a ministry assistant at Ridgecrest. After working with students for many years, a desire to pursue a degree in counseling was born. She acquired a Masters in Counseling from Amberton University in Garland and completed the required hours to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Lay Elder

Jeremy Coddington

Jeremy Coddington serves as a Lay Elder at Ridgecrest. He and his wife Delaine have been RBC members for almost 6 years. Jeremy has served on the Acts 1:8 mission team and as a Sunday school teacher. He loves to serve in the RBC nursery with his wife, and to teach the young adult Keystone group on occasion. As a young child, Jeremy was surrounded with gospel teaching, and responded in faith to follow Christ. In the US Air Force, Jeremy traveled extensively with his growing family and was ordained as a deacon at a European Baptist Federation affiliated church almost 40 years ago. Through his various military and contractor assignments, Jeremy and family experienced God’s work in a variety of cultures around the world. Jeremy currently works at a local Aerospace and Defense Company. He and his wife, Delaine, have have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.

Joe Killgore

Joe serves as a Lay Elder at Ridgecrest. He is the husband to Christina and father to Eli, Lincoln, Carter, Kate, and Mason. Joe came to RBC as a teenager and has served in various capacities over the last 18 years including young adults, college, youth, nursery, and children’s ministry. He currently serves on the benevolence team, co-teaches a young adults Sunday School class, serves with Christina on the care team and they host a life group at their home. He is the franchise owner of the Charles Schwab office here in Greenville and enjoys exercising, coaching, and playing sports in his spare time.

Lay Elder

Ken Money

Ken Money serves as a Lay Elder at Ridgecrest. Ken also leads For The City, a local ministry that brings churches together to minister to the needy in Greenville. Ken has been a member of Ridgecrest for over 40 years and during that time, he has served in many capacities including leading Bible Study, teaching Sunday School, serving as Deacon Chairman, Moderator, and as the Pastor Search Team Chairman. Ken is originally from Greenville and, except for his time away to serve in the military, has lived here his whole life and has never met a stranger in Hunt County. During his service in the Air Force, Ken gave his life to the Lord and, though he has always had a genuine heart for people, he derives pleasure and joy by ministering to and helping others, knowing that he is ultimately serving and working for Christ. He and his wife Mitzi of 43 years have two grown children and eleven grandchildren. 

Lay Elder

Mike Rackley

Mike Rackley currently serves as a Lay Elder as well as in other areas of service at Ridgecrest. Having accepted Christ at the age of 13, Mike has been a member of Ridgecrest for more than 37 years. During that time he has served as Sunday School teacher/director, Deacon Chair, Administration Team member, Kingdom Workers leader, and a For the City volunteer. Originally from Greenville, Mike has been married to Delores for more many years and they have lived around Greenville their entire lives. Mike retired from L-3 after 37 plus years and Delores retired from GISD after 36 years of teaching elementary school. They have two children, Caleb and Emily. Mike is active in the community as well, serving on the GISD School Board and the Shady Grove Special Utility District Board of Directors. Mike feels that by serving others he is fulfilling the direction of the Lord.
